EK Releases Radeon RX Vega Compatible RGB water block for Liquid Cooling

EK Releases Radeon RX Vega Compatible RGB water block for Liquid Cooling

EK releases a Full Cover water RGB block for Radeon Vega graphics cards. Customers will be able to transform their graphics card into a beautiful, bright single slot card while the water cooling block will allow the GPU to reach higher frequencies.

This water block directly cools the GPU, HBM2 memory, and VRM (voltage regulation module) as water flows directly over these critical areas thus allowing the graphics card and it’s VRM to remain stable under high overclocks. EK-FC Radeon Vega water block features a central inlet split-flow cooling engine design for best possible cooling performance, which also works flawlessly with reversed water flow without adversely affecting the cooling performance. This kind of efficient cooling will allow your high-end graphics card to reach higher boost clocks, thus providing more performance during gaming or other GPU intense tasks. Moreover, such design offers great hydraulic performance allowing this product to be used in liquid cooling systems using weaker water pumps.

The base of the block is CNC machined out of nickel-plated electrolytic copper while the top is CNC machined out of high-quality acrylic material. The sealing is ensured by quality rubber O-rings. Screw-in brass standoffs are pre-installed and allow for safe, painless installation procedure. EKWB recommends the purchase of aesthetic retention backplate which improves the looks of your graphics cards and also provides some passive cooling to the VRM circuit board. The EK-FC Radeon Vega water block is compatible with both Nickel and Black versions of the EK-FC Radeon Vega Backplates. The EK-FC Radeon Vega water block is also compatible with the factory backplates of all Radeon Vega based graphics cards (except for the AIO liquid cooled versions). he EK-FC Radeon Vega RGB water block is compatible with popular RGB sync technologies from all major motherboard manufacturers since it features a classic 4-pin 12V RGB LED strip.

EK-FC Radeon Vega water block is compatible with multiple Radeon Vega graphics cards series (see the Compatibility list):

  • Radeon Vega Frontier Edition
  • Radeon RX Vega 64
  • Radeon RX Vega 56
EK-FC Radeon Vega RGB – Nickel 129.90€
EK-FC Radeon Vega Backplate – Nickel 37.90€
EK-FC Radeon Vega Backplate – Black 29.90€

Y'know... Y'know... if you tried to not be a sarcastic ass and take my entire statement into consideration rather than look at each individual piece as separate and unrelated, it wouldn't be as stupid as you suggest.
First of all, it should be obvious I'm referring to the hardcore miners, who have tens of thousands of dollars worth of equipment; the ones responsible for GPU shortages.

Remember, many serious miners use as many as 16 GPUs per rig. If there are 3 fans per GPU, that's 48 fans. The average fan uses about 1W. A good water pump uses about 20W. It's not a big difference, but when you've got dozens or hundreds of rigs, those watts add up.
Meanwhile, if you were to air cool these GPUs during the summer, you're going to need a lot of BTUs of air conditioners, which is going to be thousands of watts.

It was implied that they would already have a pool (or, maybe with all the money they get, they'd just build one).

So, if you already have a pool (or plan to get one), then yes, my idea would actually make a pretty big difference. So, mind explaining why your condescending tone is necessary?

EDIT:
Forgot to mention - my original post was mostly facetious. I think most people would understand that the idea, although feasible, is not something most people would seriously do.

Oops! Wait! It's a complete misunderstanding! I was even hoping you would jump in and go along with that small humorous scenario I posted. I took your previous post as humorous/funny and so I went with it.

I was merely poking a bit of fun at miners! I apologize if it came off in any other way besides that. Won't happen again. :)

lol whoops. I'm used to people being a lot more antagonistic and sarcastic. No harm done then I guess - I cleared out my last post.

You had me worried a bit there.. It was early hours here and my reading comprehension wasn't/isn't 100% but I would be a bit concerned for my self if it was that bad to the point I completely misread! All is good. :p
