EIZO announced the release of the ColorEdge CS2400R, a 24.1-inch WUXGA color management liquid crystal display designed for creators.

As a successor to the ColorEdge CS2410 launched in March 2019, the ColorEdge CS2400R has a USB Type-C port that supports 70W power supply, allowing for charging of a laptop while using the display. Additionally, the display color has been upgraded from 8-bit to 10-bit, enabling greater precision and color range.

To protect the product during transport, the packaging features pulp cushioning material, and EIZO has made efforts to use halogen-free materials for the printed circuit board and internal components. The display features a digital uniformity correction circuit that reduces unevenness in brightness and chromaticity, color management software "ColorNavigator 7", and "Quick Color Match" that enables matching of screen and photo print colors.

The display has an IPS LCD panel with a resolution of 1,920 x 1,200 dots, 300cd/m2 brightness, 1,000:1 contrast ratio, and a response speed of 14ms. It covers 100% of sRGB color gamut and has horizontal/vertical viewing angles of 178°. The interface includes USB Type-C x 1, HDMI x 1, DisplayPort x 1, USB Type-B upstream x 1, downstream USB 3.0 x 2, and USB 2.0 x 2.

The display can tilt from -5 to 35 degrees, swivel 344 degrees, pivot 90 degrees, and has a height adjustment of 155mm. It also supports VESA mounting with a pitch of 100x100mm. The external dimensions are 554.4mm wide, 245mm deep, and 396 to 551mm high, and it weighs approximately 8.1 kg. The sales are scheduled to begin selling the product on April 18, 2023, with a price of $499 USD including tax.
