EA Delays Battlefield V release by a month
EA has announced that Battlefield 5 - originally due for release October 19 - has been pushed back on its release date by a month, it will now release November 20.
The news comes from Oskar Gabrielson, General Manager of developer DICE, in a blog post on EA's website. He seems to point to player feedback as being the primary reason behind the delay, thanking the "tens of thousands" of players who have played both during closed alphas or in demo booths at events such as E3 and Gamescom, and highlights some positive feedback around weapons handling and player movement.
Today, we’re announcing that Battlefield V will have a new launch date – November 20, 2018. I wanted to give you a little bit of insight into how we arrived at this new date. Over the summer, we’ve had tens of thousands of players get their hands on the game during our Closed Alphas and at E3 and Gamescom – where we were honored to receive the awards for Best Multiplayer Game at both shows. You have told us that you are seeing an increased focus on squad play come through, you are also feeling the difference in our revamped player movement and we are getting a lot of positive feedback for our improved weapons handling. You’ve also spurred us to make some meaningful improvements to the core gameplay experience, including adjusting the gameplay tempo, improving soldier visibility and reducing player friction. You’ll see a lot of these reflected in our Open Beta that starts on September 6. We believe we have one of the best Battlefield games ever on our hands. A game that will deliver on an emotional journey through the return of unseen single player War Stories, a deep multiplayer experience, Battle Royale, along with our new live service, Tides of War - a journey across multiple theaters of WW2 and designed to keep our community together. With the Open Beta just around the corner, we are excited about the millions of you who will join us and experience the game. And we fully expect to see even more feedback coming our way. And that’s why we’re moving our launch date. We’re going to take the time to continue to make some final adjustments to core gameplay, and to ensure we really deliver on the potential of Tides of War. We know moving the launch date means that we all have to wait a little longer. But we’re going to take our time to make sure we get it right. Thank you for your continued passion and support. We can’t wait to see you on the battlefield in just a few days.

Sorry, don't be paranoid over what I write. Many people have not realize that I do call BS left and right.
I mean, some theories are too weak minded, deluded, spreading too much misinformation, or are too hilarious that I have to point it out. (And I do not mean Noisiv's percentage comments, that's just tiny error.)
If someone else posted same reply here instead of me, you would likely not consider it problematic. And maybe even think about it, right? Instead, you do not think about content. You see same nickname twice and feel something when you should really think something.
But hey, 3 times... Will it be pattern on my side, or yours?

Sorry, I had to. You just asked for it. And now you will ask yourself... consciously or not.
FYI. I am comfortably drinking lovely tea in here while typing this with tiny smile on my face. Holding myself back to tell you all those funny things you just wrote there... knowing that they would be considered as personal attack instead of cold observation. See ya around. (If I am not on your block list.)

Makes sense, nVidia sells 30k new cards. And everyone owning one will go buy BF5... nope, sorry.
I do not see someone who does not play fps games to buy it just for RTX card moving dust in PC. (Inflating his cost by another $60 or whatever BF5 goes for.)
Even if everyone buying new RTX card would not buy BF5 before and now would decide to buy it... Just a tiny little drop in amount of sales those fps games get.
Alright Fox - you have beef with me - I tried to be nice to you on page 2 of this thread and laugh off that over-the-top "hostile" reply of yours. If you have beef PM me and lay it to rest. Otherwise, don't find me in other threads to quote me and passive-aggressively argue whatever I say - I don't need this becoming a trend & something tells me you tend to hold a grudge... I told you earlier I was kidding around with you... If I'd known you'd take it sideways I'd probably had sent it labeled "fragile" seriously - take a break - run a lap - smoke some weed, come back when cooler heads prevail and let it go. I'm not a fan of report buttons or having to go to a mod I'd rather you and I just come to an mutual understanding.
