E3 2017: Bioware Show First Gameplay Anthem

BioWare is teasing their new IP, Anthem. They showcased the game in Microsoft's E3 2017 briefing, Looking like a cross between Destiny, Mass Effect and even Halo. 



BioWare teased us a bit about their new IP AntheAnthem has been rumored as EA’s answer to games like Destiny. Casey Hudson, the executive producer on the original Mass Effect trilogy, founded a new team at BioWare Edmonton years ago to create the brand new IP. They recently showcased the game in Microsoft's E3 2017 Briefing not too long ago. Looking like a cross between Destiny, Mass Effect and even Halo. This seems like the natural progression for BioWare with Mass Effect 3 straying far away from most of the original's RPG-elements. In 
Anthem, players control characters known as Freelancers, who are tasked with not only exploring the surrounding world but also defending civilians against any threats that lurk beyond the fortified walls. Exo-suits named Javelins are a key part of the game, which are equipped with jetpacks that seem to operate somewhat similarly to those in 
Mass Effect: Andromeda
