E3 2017: Battlefield 1 Gets Explosive Trailer - In the Name of the Tsar
During EA’s conference at its EA Play 2017 event, a new trailer debuted showcasing the new expansions and content coming to Battlefield 1 later this year. EA’s Andrew Gulotta revealed several new pieces of content coming including Night Maps, and a brand new expansion called “In the Name of the Tsar,”.
It brings players into the largest front of World War I, including a new first look trailer. In addition to the campaign, the expansion will feature 6 new maps, the Russian army, new cavalry, vehicles, weapons, “the iconic women’s battalion of Death,” and much more. During the conference, it was also revealed that the new content will be arriving in September 2017. EA promised during the conference that “In the Name of the Tsar” will be “the most extensive Battlefield expansion so far.”
Information on four of the maps from DICE:
- Lupkow Pass: Fight in the snow-covered ravines of the treacherous Lupkow Pass. Against this dramatic backdrop, the vertical fights are as bitter as the cold.
- Albion: Featuring skirmishes of the Albion assault in a freezing archipelago. In this massive invasion of the Baltic peninsula, the German Empire attacks with infantry, dreadnoughts, and aircraft against the heavy coastal gun batteries of the Russian forces.
- Galicia: In the midst of the epic Brusilov Offensive, the Russian Empire is fighting to push back the Austro-Hungarian forces in the Russian countryside. Take on an open map focused on infantry, cavalry, and light vehicles.
- Brusilov Keep: The Russians have pushed their enemy into a small mountain town, but the Austro-Hungarians are making a strong stand. Experience close-quarter fights by the Carpathians on an infantry-focused map.
More information on the two extra maps will be revealed at a later date. The expansion also presents new assignments which allow players to tailor their gameplay with specializations, new Medals, Dog Tags, and Service Stars. You’ll even gain a new game mode called Supply Drop, where planes airdrop the supplies needed to fight survive your opponents on the Eastern Front. Battlefield 1: In the Name of the Tsar will be released in September.

Me too. Loved the single player missions. Won't be buying any expansions again, until they get more sp in there.

I wish they'd make more single-player missions with these DLC. I love battlefield 1 multiplayer, but the single-player was really enticing, even if it was short.
