A few days ago, the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge Customs announced that it had seized two cross-border smuggling cases on the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge in June, and seized a large number of CPUs. The two smuggling cases seized 256 and 52 CPUs respectively. The hid 256 Intel CPUs on their body with a total value of more than 800,000 yuan / roughly 110,000 EUR/USD.

The first smuggler was seized on June 16. When the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge customs officers inspected a cross-border passenger truck from Guangdong and Macao, they found that the driver was acting abnormally and looked nervous. In a video uploaded by the customs, it can be seen that the customs officer has removed a total of 256 CPUs from the arrested driver, and can see that the CPUs seized this time include multiple Intel Core i7-10700 and Core i9-10900K.

At another smuggling case on the evening of June 26 customs officers inspected a Guangdong-Macao passenger truck passing through the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge when inspecting the entry and exit vehicles of a Guangdong-Macao-branded passenger truck. When passing through non-intrusive inspection equipment The system found that the image was abnormal, and the customs officer immediately conducted a key manual inspection of the car, and seized 52 brand-new Intel CPUs between the main driver's seat.
