DPReview.com, a renowned English-language camera website that offers news, reviews, and a vast forum, has announced that it will shut down on April 10, along with its YouTube channel.

The announcement was made by the site's team, who cited a challenging decision arising from a yearly review by parent company Amazon earlier this year, which did not directly mention DPReview. The company's General Manager, Scott Everett, expressed his gratitude for the support that the website and its communities have received over the past 25 years.

Despite the impending closure, DPReview's editors will continue to work on reviews and publish content until April 10. One of the site's highlights is its YouTube channel, which has been hosted for the last five years by photography enthusiast Chris Niccolls and the more video-focused Jordan Drake. The duo, who previously worked with The Camera Store channel, have stated that they are not ready to call it quits and will continue with the show. Niccolls advises fans to keep an eye on their social media accounts for updates, although he has not yet disclosed any details about their plans.
