Installed and working well for me, as usual. I don't hear any difference, but that's fine considering I run mine to a Yamaha RX-V375 receiver and custom homemade speakers (better than any commercial brand you can buy) via optical cable, and my onboard Realteks on both my last two main-boards have sounded as good as my Asus Xonar card anyway.
I like to use the Realtek versions because they enable 'stereo mix' recording. I think the Realtek control panel is fine. I usually have no need to use it, but, it isn't bad at all.

Why would u hear any difference while using digital connection ? u are always limited by the DAC and OPAMPS u are using, doesn't matter where it is, in your case in a Yamaha amp but not in your sound cards so u can now go and buy the most expensive sound card there is and u still wont find it any better via digital but u might get new feature or 2.

this driver works really good. the surround is more pronounced. actually sound is better in all aspects. but it really shows me i need to get a new receiver. sigh........ one of these days.
