Download: Radeon Software Crimson ReLive Edition 17.11.2 Drivers
You can now download Radeon Software Crimson ReLive Edition 17.11.2 which adds support for Star Wars Battlefront II. The drivers also fix a handful issues related to Radeon ReLive game video capture/streaming software and some WattMan issues. Download the drivers from the link below.
Support For
- Star Wars™ Battlefront™ II
Fixed Issues
- Radeon ReLive recorded clips may experience green corruption or green screen backgrounds.
- Radeon ReLive may fail to record when switching a game between Fullscreen and Borderless Fullscreen.
- Radeon Settings may experience a crash or hang when enabling/disabling AMD CrossFire mode on some select Radeon HD 7000 series graphics products.
- Radeon WattMan user interface may not reflect overclocked or underclocked values for GPU memory.
- Radeon WattMan may not apply correct reduced voltage values for some Radeon RX 400 and Radeon RX 500 series graphics products.
- Secondary extended displays may experience green corruption when resuming from display off or sleep modes.
Known Issues
- Radeon RX Vega Series graphics products may experience a system hang on installation in Multi GPU system configurations. A workaround is to do clean install only for Multi GPU enabled systems.
- Some desktop productivity apps may experience latency when dragging or moving windows.
- Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six® Siege may experience an application hang when breaching walls with grenades or explosives.
- A random system hang may be experienced after extended periods of use on system configurations using 12 GPU's for compute workloads.
- The GPU Workload feature may cause a system hang when switching to Compute while AMD CrossFire is enabled. A workaround is to disable AMD CrossFire before switching the toggle to Compute workloads.
- Resizing the Radeon Settings window may cause the user interface to stutter or exhibit corruption temporarily.
- Unstable Radeon WattMan profiles may not be restored to default after a system hang.
- OverWatch™ may experience a random or intermittent hang on some system configurations. Disabling Radeon ReLive as a temporary workaround may resolve the issue.
- Radeon RX Vega series graphics products may intermittently experience stability issues while enabling/disabling HBCC.

INF comparison.
17.11.1
AMD Driver version 17.40.1031
Windows driver version 23.20.788.0
17.11.2
Crossfire profiles:
Star-Wars Battlefront 2
Call of Duty World War 2
These were updated.
CODWW2 is running in single GPU on Vega here...Maybe its that kind of profile that switch it to stricktly single GPU??

Could be, but a single-GPU profile to me would be a very short string and probably involving a lot of 0x0 flags.

True
That's probably not the case here.
There's also the DXX profile but it appears to target the SP exe file only.
0x22,0x00,0x00,0x01,0x00,0x00,0xFF,0xFF,0x08,0x00,0x00,0x00,0x13,0x00,0x00,0x00,0x01,0x00,0x00,0x00,
And if we go down to the exe files we have these listings for the HighPerfGPUAffinity setting.
And these which appear to tie into Crossfire.
And then these but these appear to connect to the above DXX profile.
Those hex flags can mean a lot of different things though, for Linux it seems some of this was recently found commented in the source code for the drivers there but that doesn't help with DirectX games though it can give some info on how this is all set up.
Undoubtedly some of these are compatibility flags or workarounds or other "hacks" for how the game should work with multiple GPU's and to try and maximize scaling but there could be flags for different GPU models and Vega in particular was only recently made Crossfire compatible I believe. (Another flaw with the original release of that GPU, well for those who've managed to snag 2x of them at least what with poor availability and all that.) Could be that there's still work to be done before multi-GPU works perfectly for Vega, though GPU model aside both SLI and Crossfire support seems to have been problematic as of late.
It's a high profile title though, there is obviously a profile too so hopefully AMD will have it resolved sooner rather than later, 17.12.1 looks to be focusing on including a OSD but hopefully there's more to it than expanding on ReLive.
EDIT: Comparing with a profile that should be single-GPU could perhaps help but even the Win10 UWP apps have a few bits to their profiles.
0x22,0x00,0x00,0x01,0x00,0x00,0xFF,0xFF,0x18,0x00,0x00,0x00,0x17,0x00,0x00,0x00,0x01,0x00,0x00,0x00,0x00,0x00,0x00,0x00,0x00,0x00,0x00,0x00,0x20,0x00,0x00,0x00,0x1F,0x00,0x20,0x00,0x01,0x00,0xFF,0xFF,0x04,0x00,0x00,0x00,0x00,0x00,0x00,0x00,0x22,0x00,0x00,0x01,0x02,0x00,0xFF,0xFF,0x18,0x00,0x00,0x00,0x17,0x00,0x00,0x00,0x01,0x00,0x00,0x00,0x00,0x00,0x00,0x00,0x00,0x00,0x00,0x00,0x20,0x00,0x00,0x00,0x1F,0x00,0x20,0x00,0x03,0x00,0xFF,0xFF,0x04,0x00,0x00,0x00,0x00,0x00,0x00,0x00,
Though yeah a lot of 0x00 in there.
That first flag is probably of some importance too, tends to be the first noticeable difference when a Crossfire profile has been updated but it could just function as a sort of incremental version string or well it's probably some other bit or flag but usually it's increased when a profile is updated.
EDIT: Or I could look at the top of the CFX list and see they actually have compatibility profiles specifically for these modes.

Not that it says much, at least not without knowing more about these bits at least which I guess there's very limited to no public information about unless some comparison can be made from the open source AMD Linux drivers, mostly just a guess though, OGL differs from D3D after all. (Driver used to have it's own little OpenGL XML file for compatibility for games using that API, disappeared a while back though.)
Could be, but a single-GPU profile to me would be a very short string and probably involving a lot of 0x0 flags.
That's probably not the case here.
There's also the DXX profile but it appears to target the SP exe file only.

Though yeah a lot of 0x00 in there.
That first flag is probably of some importance too, tends to be the first noticeable difference when a Crossfire profile has been updated but it could just function as a sort of incremental version string or well it's probably some other bit or flag but usually it's increased when a profile is updated.

While I love the threads on new drivers sometimes I am just surprised we all sometimes seem to get lost in the weeds. I am shocked no one is mentioning the the huge dx11 optimization that came with driver release. It has taken me a bit to account for the rather large increase in just my graphics score in 3dmark firestrike. About 1000 points improvement. (17.11.1 to 17.11.2)

Hey guys, it's only with me or this new driver is crashing in the pubg ?

Edit: I'm reverting to 17.11.1
Edit 2: 17.11.1 no crashes, anyone else with this issues with 17.11.2 in PUBG?
