Download: NVIDIA Releases 531.29 WHQL GeForce Game Ready Drivers with Fixes and Optimizations

NVIDIA has announced the release of its latest version of GeForce Game Ready drivers, aimed at delivering the best possible gaming experience for users. While the specific game optimizations have not been made clear in the current changelog.

Among the fixes included in the update is the resolution of a CPU utilization issue with the NVIDIA Container internal process of the driver. Additionally, stability issues encountered by users of certain laptops with GeForce GTX 10/MX250/350 series GPUs have been addressed. The update also resolves certain stability issues experienced by users of Adobe CC applications with the previous 531.18 drivers.

This new Game Ready Driver provides the best gaming experience for the latest new titles supporting NVIDIA DLSS 3 technology including Atomic Heart and the closed Beta of THE FINALS.

Fixed Issues in Version 531.29 WHQL
- Higher CPU usage from NVIDIA Container might be observed after exiting a game
- Stability issues may be observed on certain laptops with GeForce GTX 10/MX250/350 series GPUs
- Adobe application stability issues using 531.18

Open Issues in Version 531.29 WHQL
- Toggling HDR on and off in-game causes game stability issues when non-native resolution is used.
- Monitor may briefly flicker on waking from display sleep if DSR/DLDSR is enabled.

- [GeForce RTX 4090] Watch Dogs 2 may display flickering when staring at the sky
- [Hogwarts Legacy] Black Screen/Hang on Launch at Shader Compilation Screen using Driver 531.18 Workaround: Close and relaunch game.
- Applying GeForce Experience Freestyle filters cause games to crash
- Assassin’s Creed Origins stability issues using 531.18

I'm not saying that driver is not normal, but its performing worse than previous one and also the last beta (531.26), i'm expecting a new driver to perform better or at least the same , not worse !! minus 33 points in time spy, no time to provide proofs, you have to take my word for it, its not a nuclear problem :cool:

The "minus 33 points in time spy" made me laugh, ngl. 33 is nothing and even minus 100 would be considered margin of error. Also this is depending on so many things like temperatures, running background processes and so on.

Let's install this MF

UPD.
FH5 still crashes after applying effect (sharpen+)
IMhO it's Forza fault cuz' any other game working like a charm.
Do note that Reshade 5.6 is working with FH5 now...so no biggy and without FPS hit

Overall good release.

Note:
BF 2042 - Great, Flat line
Forza H5 RT - Working great.
Hogwarts L. (old patch) RT - Great
Witcher 3 RT - Great
Last Epoch - Great

So far is very good, stable and fast driver.

still no game ready for Wo Long?

do they plan to fix these any time soon I seen these on the issue list for quite a few months now

I dont have DSR flicker issue on my monitor upon waking and it is enabled, but i better sure i have HDR issue
