Intel's HD Graphics driver team decided to go out with a bit of a bang this year as well, the Intel Graphics Driver for Windows download has been updated to build 15.60.1.1.4901 and holds specific game optimizations, HEVC/H.265 support and some Vulkan MSAA perf optimizations.
The new update supports a wide range of IGPs including for Skylake, Kaby lake, Apollo Lake and Coffee Lake. The main build revision is Intel Graphics Driver for Windows 15.60. The Intel HD graphics Driver is the latest driver release for Intel HD Graphics drivers running Windows. The drivers support HD graphics on Intel Core i3, Core i5, Core i7, various Pentium and Celeron processors.

True for now, but once this "partnership" is over, Intel will put a lot of money into their R&D and AMD will have shot themselves in the foot.
Personally I think AMD has made a bad move.

Either way Intel will get what it wants, be it from AMD or Nvidia. If neither of them wanted to cooperate with Intel,then Intel would just "buy" engineers from them.Don't forget that even if Intel decides to make their own GPU's both AMD and Nvidia have boatload of patents to sue Intel to Oblivion.I think that recent Intel moves in GPU field is nothing more then attempt to combat Nvidia in field of neural networks and AI, big data processing ..., there is not much dough in consumer GPU's for Intel to go there seriously.
