I think some of the info is old. My previous comment is from a few months ago. Maybe they just change the title and part of the description and links.
On topic, current one is working fine too.

Hello,
I think most of the issues that have been discussed here are mentioned in Intel's official FAQ about DCH drivers.
Per example, the right-click contextual option no longer being available is not a bug but rather intentional and in compliance with Microsoft's requirements. As noted earlier you can still access either the Intel Graphics Control Panel or Intel Graphics Command Center from the Windows Start Menu.
Intel rolled out the Intel Graphics Command Center (IGCC) and its goal is for it to eventually replace the old Intel Graphics Control Panel. I know IGCC still lacks some of the features and options the old Control Panel had, but Intel is constantly releasing updates for it to eventually achieve full parity plus new and exciting features are being added (e.g. Integer Scaling)
Both the DCH driver and IGCC installation should be an easy process, but if you encounter any issue on your particular system I invite you to take a look at the FAQ doc already linked, and if you still need assistance you can always contact Intel Customer Support directly to figure out why the issue is occurring and get assistance.

Wow, most comments are from 2018. I'll talk about 2020-01-16 release (26.20.100.7755) https://downloadmirror.intel.com/29335/eng/ReleaseNotes-100.7755.pdf
It adds support for Vulkan 1.2 on 6th gen and upwards, and has a few important fixes all around.
As for Surface Pro (4 and up) owners... still stuck with a 2018 Intel driver.
