NVIDIA has released the latest version of their GeForce drivers, version 531.18 WHQL. This Game Ready Driver provides optimal gaming experience for new titles such as Atomic Heart and THE FINALS that support NVIDIA DLSS 3 technology.
Additionally, the update includes support for RTX Video Super Resolution. Some of the issues that have been fixed in this version include occasional stability issues in Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2, application instability in Adobe Premiere Pro, and the freezing of Forza Horizon 4 after 15-30 minutes of gameplay in the Steam version. The update also enables Dead Space Resizable Bar profile and addresses issues with ProRes RAW files in Adobe After Effects/Media Encoder.

For some this is an upgrade.
No risks when not messing about.
"Messing about"? And does that relate to the specific vulnerabilities that were fixed or generally re GPU vulnerabilities, if it can even be generalised!?

I think that you have to try hard or do something stupid to trigger most of these vulnerabilities, I might be wrong.
I'm not scared regardless, take into consideration that I visit very few sites and none of them are social sites like FB etc., don't play games and pretty much shut every network related function that I don't need down (most is removed from my installation too), beside whitelisting for access since default is everything blacklisted.
I also do know which mails that I need to delete without even opening them in case they passed the filters.
In general, vulnerabilities are not easy to trigger via the internet without any interaction from the victim, only exeption would be to seed code in form of a virus, but that virus has to come from somewhere.

Fair enough, but you know that seems kind of restrictive and non-comomon usage, we all play games online here. But I like your honesty, these vulnerabities are surely nebulous to almost everyone - as in does anyone know for sure if they need to care about them! The default answer for me is - who knows! Therefore let's apply all the secrurity protocols and maximise your hardware to enable a good experience - it sucks but it's safe(r). What would I like to see....hmmm...no security vulnerablities and no costly workarounds, but I guess that's not gonna happen, but to be fair these hardware companies should be doing their maximum to minimise the negatives re secrurity performance hits & vulnerabilities - to me this is a 2017+ problem, I was never previously aware of security mitigations that compromised performance!
