Download: GeForce 390.77 WHQL drivers
You can now grab GeForce 390.77 WHQL drivers as released by NVIDIA. The new set offers the optimal gaming experience for Kingdom Come: Deliverance, War Thunder, Black Desert Online, and Metal Gear Survive. This new release adds an optimal gaming experience as well as a number of fixes, SLI and 3D Vision profiles.
Nvidia just released a new driver, is a WHQL certified one. The drivers should also fix some issues specific to Windows 10 in relation to display corruption/blanking when, multiple displays are connected to a GTX 780 Ti SLI setup as well as GSync displays connected to TITAN V with its memory being overclocked; or a crash with Gears of War 4 on GeForce 10-series GPUs. As always you know where you can grab the drivers directly from our download section. We have a discussion thread open on this driver here in our Nvidia driver discussion forums.

again, its not a fix if the prevention for a broken finger is to cut off both your arms.
Provide a fix that has no performance impact and then I'll consider it

I agree although it's quickly moving from hilarious to just plane annoying. Constantly hearing about it and having articles on it all over guru3d. It was funny when the media said we could have up to 30% performance loss and people immediately interpreted it as we will have a 30% performance loss.
Not when there is performance loss. Granted it might only be a few fps but if I can prevent that fps loss with using a certain driver, I will use it. I need all the fps I can get at 4k. I'm going to stick to the best performing driver until this actually becomes an issue. As soon as the first PC's get infected, I will update immediately. I'm not going to lose performance over the 2% chance that my PC is going to be the first infected. It's far more likely I will hear about it first before actually getting infected.

Has anyone tried these and compared them to the vulkan driver? I'm unable to test them now.

Gambling is a perfectly legitimate reason to stay on <390. If you are comfortable with gambling all your personal info, banking details, etc, and that of all your friends, go for it, you do you. Lots of people just turn off windows updates entirely and leave themselves vulnerable to pretty much everything, and get away with it. And like you say, your odds are pretty good.
AQUILES just said he didn't see any reason to patch, so I gave him one.
I ain't trying to tell you what to do with your PC. It's kinda ironic that so many of you are complaining about a 'storm in a teacup' about these vulns, and making a storm in a teacup about them being mentioned as briefly as possible.....
Can we get back to talking about the driver now? The stuttering since 390, the guys who have settings reset on reboot, etc?

better to have and not need it then need it and not have it, and pay the price. the whole idea of saying spectre or meltdown is nothing to worry at this point, When every hacker and want be hacker will now be looking to exploit it and the people that havent been patched. is just asking for trouble.
To each there own i guess.
