This
Nvidia installer is miles ahead. It just is.
For as long as I can remember, it failed me only ONCE.
The only time I ever have to use a utility like this is with my builds using AMD video cards.

What hate?
If I have to use DDU - the sh1t has hit the fan. So whats there to love?
Does any one love his proctologist?
The other issue is that ppl are using DDU like its running water. And this is bad practice imho.
i just can't understand why DDU gets so much hate and why there are people who always need to tell everyone how few times they had to use it. never seen such a useful freebie that solved problems for countless of people receive so much negativity

Why is removing drivers before installing new one's bad practice? Using Helium in party balloons is bad practice, this is common sense.

The negativity is quite low to be honest; at a point that it doesn't bother me or discourage me at all.
I mostly see satisfied users everywhere.
Also the negative part is not directly against DDU but more against the idea of what it is doing.
If there is an issue with DDU , most users who know me, know that I usually fix this super fast.
Normally, I recommend using my tool only when necessary for casuals users. (Don't fix what is not broken)
Pro users can do what they want of course because they know the risks/benefits

DDU is very useful and has saved many people a lot of problems when using it. I've seen people even post about the problems its solved on other forums.
I certainly am grateful for its existence.
