OK. So after a CLEAN INSTALL incl. DDU everything back to normal.... 0 up to 0.1 % usage as it should be... Seem like one of the settings in the user-DB borked the software causing high CPU usage.... pity to loose all the stats.... but... oh well...
UPDATE > so... after setting my settings.... the cpu usage is back to 2.7-3%....

I did set the following :
-Custom fan curve under Performance/Tuning (advanced control / fan speed),
-disabled automatic check for updates,
-enabled chill with min max range and image sharpening under graphics,
-under video - enabled custom and enabled fluid motion video
-under general switched back to english
UPDATE 2 > on restart is back to 0... Only if I open the settings it remains in background using 2-3 %... After killing it or on reboot back to 0....

Holy god thats an old driver too.
Why wouldnt we. new gpus dropping this month, and dec has been the big update every year for almost 5 years in a row now.

Idk it starts every time without issues. I had some custom fan profiles not being saved on boot but thats fixed now a while ago. Im looking right now at radeon settings 0% cpu usage.
Always doing a clean install here.
