Poor optimization as always from the devs of the game.
I dont think Radeon team can to miracles on this.

@JonasBeckman this is for the Early Access adaptors of the game (reviewers/streamers)
probably a proper driver next week.
PES needs major work, game is locked at 37fps in full screen and runs in slow motion.

Pfft ah that last post I made might as well have been a new topic perhaps since the SB drivers are even noted as 18.8.2 although early access which I don't know but i guess it's the drivers that refers to, not the game.
EDIT: Ah I see.
@JonasBeckman this is for the Early Access adaptors of the game (reviewers/streamers)
probably a proper driver next week.
So for now the driver version is up from 18.30.01.01 to 18.30.11.01
or 24.20.13001.1010 to 24.20.13011.1004
And the game is using Vulkan? Interesting.
Known issues:
Minor corruption may be observed when launching Strange Brigade™ with Vulkan™ enabled on Windows®7 system configurations.
An application hang may occur in Strange Brigade™ on multi GPU enabled systems with both V-Sync enabled in game and Radeon FreeSync enabled on Windows®7 operating system.
Radeon Overlay may not show up when toggled in multi GPU system configurations in Strange Brigade™ with Vulkan™ enabled.
(Release notes just mentions having support for the game.)
Improved Vulkan support for the game then? Wonder what else is in there.
EDIT:
Atiapfxx.exe -r -sys -s test.xml and then atiapfxx.blb is copied and turned into test.xml
Compared against 18.8.1 and what's new here?
Well this section is new.
MclkDownHyst
MclkUpHyst
MclkThreshold
PowerLimit
UpHysteresis
DownHysteresis
SclkThreshold
And this for a profile a bit further down.
0x67A0,0x00,0x06,0x28,0x67A1,0x00,0x06,0x28
0x67A0,0x00,0x06,0x05,0x67A1,0x00,0x06,0x05
0x67A0,0x00,0x06,0x10,0x67A1,0x00,0x06,0x10
0x67A0,0x00,0x06,0x96,0x67A1,0x00,0x06,0x96
0x67A0,0x00,0x06,0x01,0x67A1,0x00,0x06,0x01
0x67A0,0x00,0x06,0x0a,0x67A1,0x00,0x06,0x0a
0x67A0,0x00,0x06,0x10,0x67A1,0x00,0x06,0x10
And then Crossfire profiles and these flags found in the next section.
Quake Champions
PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds
Far Cry 5
Sea of Thieves
Kingdom Come Deliverance
Need for Speed Payback
So nothing added but some profiles got updated.
DXX comes after that.
Notch Builder
This one was updated.
Ni Shui Han
Call Of Duty Black Ops4
These two were added.
After that OpenGL.
0x00008000
0x00040000
0x02000000
0x00000040
Last part of OpenGLCapsEx3 was added to the first profile, second profile is new.
And then after that there's the HighPerfGPUAffinity flags for games.
Nothing has changed here but the order for Assassin's Creed Odyssey has been altered so it's a bit lower down the profiles list doesn't really mean anything.
Fortnite had a profile added here though so that's new.
And then exe names and profiles again after that.
OpenCL benchmark then? Newer version maybe and has some profile additions to it.
(Restricting speeds? Hmm not sure.)
And then the exe names for Ni Shui Han and Call of Duty Black Ops 4
And OpenGL
And OpenCL where this has been removed.
Probably using the above entry instead and the PPLIB additions.
(PowerPlay library? Eh probably something along those lines, maybe.)
EDIT: Yeah the Vulkan drivers are newer.
9.2.10.49 instead of 9.2.10.45 found in 18.8.1 although the runtime in the installer is using 1.1.77.0 instead of 1.1.81.0 though it's also available for download separately now.
https://vulkan.lunarg.com/sdk/home#windows
(1.1.82.1)
I'll wait with installing the drivers myself but yeah it's looking likely that a end of the month 18.8.2 driver should come out next week.
(There's already this early access / beta driver for initial support or improved support for Strange Brigade and what looks like it's Vulkan mode but not entirely without a few known issues at least for this driver release.)
EDIT: Strange BRIGADE
What's a Bridage anyway.

PhysX is the default physics engine in both Unity and Unreal. Which means it is used in tons of games, on a lot of different platforms (PC, Xbox, PS4, Switch, mobile phones, you name it).
“That game does not use PhysX because it is not listed on X or Y“: potentially wrong.
Some people pointed out the lists of “PhysX games” found online as “proofs” that PhysX was dead and not used anymore. Unfortunately these lists are incomplete. Even the one on Nvidia’s own website is not up-to-date. There are a couple of reasons for this:
PhysX is kind of “done” now, and more-or-less in maintenance mode.
“GPU PhysX” can mean different things, and admittedly the differences are not always clear or obvious.
If we’re talking GPU particles or cloth, they have indeed been deprecated in recent PhysX versions, replaced with FLEX (an entirely different engine, unrelated to PhysX so far). The FLEX implementation is better, so there was no need to keep supporting both.

I posted this because I've seen a lot of posts about Unity engine not working on AMD hardware. Be that it's fixed by now (or not). It's clear where this engine tilts towards.

Strange Brigade driver.
https://www.amd.com/en/support/kb/release-notes/rn-rad-win-strangebrigade
Dated August 20th.
(18.8.1 re-release is dated August 17th.)
And there's a updated 18.Q3 driver from August 10th for mobile chipset now called 18.Q3.1
https://www.amd.com/en/support/kb/release-notes/rn-pro-win-18-q3-1
And 18.30 for Linux.
https://www.amd.com/en/support/kb/release-notes/rn-prorad-lin-18-30
Seems the KB's are in order now with the latest at the very back, reversed would be nice but eh it's listed somewhat more organized at least.
