Futuremark released 3DMark for Windows v2.4.4254 (Incl. Time Spy), which is now available. This is a minor update for 3DMark. Benchmark scores are not affected.

The new February 5, 2018 release has improved score validation checks, hardware monitoring information is now required for competitive submissions to the 3DMark Hall of Fame. This likely was a protection measure after an overclocker found a way to cheat and apply lower image quality settings.

The installer is now available in Japanese, Korean, and Spanish.

Fixed

Restored the 3DMark splash screen when starting the application.
Fixed a crash that could occur when the system returns unexpected values for the amount of video RAM.

This ‘free’ download really is an advertisement which suggests that you also get Port Royal with this Edition. No, you have to buy it, it only costs $4, and then, when bought, you’ll find out it cannot be used on the Basic Edition. You also have to buy the Pro Edition for $25...
Yep, I learned this the hard way :-(

@ Hilbert Hagedoorn You should post a warning to your readers about the Port Royale benchmark. Users of 3D Mark Basic Edition are tricked into buying an upgrade, while that key cannot be used. It really is misleading...
