Division 2: Warlords of New York comes as DLC

The Division 2: Warlords of New York was announced in a Twitch live stream. The DLC will be released on March 3, 2020. Friends of the predecessor, in particular, should be happy because it is going back to the Open World in New York City.

To be more precise, in part of it: The DLC takes place in Lower Manhattan - the rest of the city has been badly devastated and flooded by a hurricane. The new map for Division 2 was not included in the first part of Division 1, so the world is completely new.  Warlords of New York delivers a new story, you are chasing a big enemy from Part 1: Aaron Keener occupies Lower Manhattan and trusts the work with his four subordinates, the eponymous Warlords. You must first defeat the four warlords before you can attack Aaron Keener yourself.

On Reddit , fans have now published the leaked information that they claim to have pulled directly from the Xbox Store using an API scrubber.

In addition to some pictures, the complete description of the store entry was also published. We have translated it for you in German:

"New York is under threat. Aaron Keener, a former rogue division agent, has taken control of Lower Manhattan, assisted by four devoted and highly qualified lieutenants. They have been trained by the division, but reject their ideals and are now the highest authority in the city and the most powerful force the agents have ever faced. "

According to the leaks, the extension should offer the following features:

  • A gripping new story in which you chase your nemesis.
  • A level 30 boost that lets you jump right into the Warlords of New York campaign.
  • A new, open world in New York
  • A revised progress system with an increase of the level cap to 40
  • New tactical options: exotic, equipment and skills
  • An expanded endgame, including thematic, three-month seasons.

In addition, an Ultimate Edition is to appear, which contains a few extras in addition to the required base game: In addition to a few cosmetic items, it should provide eight exclusive missions and immediate access to all six endgame specializations.

Warlords of New York, however, will not be the first return to New York, the location of the first The Division: As the trailer for the third free DLC shows, the players will be in Coney Island in February 2020. the leak mentions that pre-order bonuses are available if you pre-order the expansion by April 3, 2020.
