DGX Ampage DGX A100 GPU based Workstation trademark Spotted
If there is one thing you can say about the next-gen GPUs from NVIDIA is that they kept their secrets well, as really even the codename remains a rumor as no roadmap indicated Ampere. Funny thing though.
Komachi Ensaka found a trademark for a new high-end workstation from Nvidia called the DGX A100. Notice that A in A100? That means it has to be Ampere architecture. Likely the workstation is going to be a residential space for graphics chips using Tesla A100 GPUs.
The DGX product line up is currently based on three products, mostly used for deep-learning and AI. Nvidia will have a presentation on May 14 where it will unveil projects that would normally have been announced at the GPU Technology Conference.
