Destiny 2 PC Beta Now Live

Bungie just made the PC beta of Destiny 2 live for those who pre-ordered the game. The beta includes the same content as the console beta which ended a few weeks ago, and those who did not pre-order will be able to join tomorrow, when the PC beta will become open to everyone.

Whether you pre-ordered or not, the beta can be installed and launched through the Battle.Net desktop app, and requires 14.8 gigabytes of your hard disk drive. Destiny 2 will release on PS4 and Xbox One on September 6th, while PC players will have to wait until October 24th.

Played a few rounds yesterday. Got my beta key from nvidia or more exact through geforce experience.
The game looks and plays ok. No issues so far. Story sounds interesting, although the game play itself looks a bit to linear and repetitive for me.

Had a go at it (2-3h) - campaign and few matches..
First time contact to the fancies and it's was not good.
The game started with around an hour long campaign snippet, which was linear, not challenging, very obscure with it's "goals/missions", which were just boring (disable a shield generator) and I didn't quite get some references to where or at what I was suppose to pay attention to - some weird orb like thing over the city - is there something wrong with it? Guess a sequel is not a good place to get acquainted. After a few downed enemies quickly went over key mappings (no intro) and also turned off smoothing, changed sensitivity, FOV and V-sync - the usual.
Not a good design and layout for the game and menu UI. Little things, like the stats of gear being ordered differently for every gear, to an interestingly obscure game loading. And I guess all stats for characters were already maxed, no reward?

Well I'm staying away from it, even if it were a F2P, which it is not with it's rather high price tag. Recommend a game called Warframe (F2P) to people who might like Destiny, used to play it, which seems bit more developed and interesting then this.

I am into Quake Champions at the moment but I'll stick to warframe when I feel like playing a game of that genre.

After half an hour:
-steering is broken (cant strafe n run)
-a lot of graphics, not very good quality wise
-performance is not good, I had to drop down to "high" with no AA just to barely keep up in a freesync range
-where is the loot ? these colourful boxes are no better than what I saw in a Borderlands series years back in time
-another strange behaviour -console style- besides no ability to strafe is third person perspective occasionally

I was so hyped about this game, now it looks like a very very overpriced 5/10
