We mentioned the U3818D a couple of times already, but Dell also is releasing a smaller 27" version of their new curved HDR10 IPS ready screen called the UP2718Q.

The U2718Q uses a 27” AH-IPS panel and has a moderate curve. Spec-wise, the UP2718Q is set to offer HDMI, DisplayPort, and Mini DisplayPort options for connectivity, up to 1000 nits of brightness, and a 3840 x 2160 maximum resolution. Y

The backlight based on a flicker-free WLED part offering 99% sRGB. 10-bit colour is supported, however by 8-bit + FRC dithering. The monitor comes factory calibrated in a sRGB preset. An 8ms grey to grey response time is specified in the ‘Normal’ mode and 5ms in the ‘Fast’ response time mode. The screen attaches to the included stand using a quick-release bracket allowing a 100 x 100mm VESA mount. Connectors include (internal power converter), DP 1.2, 2 x HDMI 2.0, 4 x USB 3.0 (plus 2 upstream for KVM functionality), USB Type-C, 3.5mm audio output and 2 x 9W speakers.

Along with the $1,549 HDR-infused UP2718Q, Dell also announced two new regular UltraSharpdisplays — the 27-inch, 4K U2718Q for $699.99, and the 25-inch U2518D for $499.99 (Dell didn’t mention its resolution, but it’s seemingly just HD), both of which will be available in July. Both the U2718Q and the U2518D are what Dell calls “InfinityEdge” displays, with dramatically reduced bezels for a cleaner visual look.

Take very good note of the SKU codes if interested in buying.
