For work and play, the "4K" UHD resolution has enough pixels for both. A popular screen size for both price and performance is 27". The Dell U2723QE is part of the UltraSharp series, which is known for its simple and modern designs.

Satin-finish silver plastic is used to make the stand. The screen is surrounded by thin bezels on all four sides, and the stand is made of silver plastic. This is the two-stage bezel design that is very popular. It has a thin panel border that is flush with the rest of the screen and a thin hard plastic outer component. As you look at it from the front, the OSD is controlled by a joystick at the back, and there is a separate power button on the right.

There is a 27-inch 4K UHD "IPS Black" panel from LG Display that is used. This has a 60Hz refresh rate and a 2000:1 static contrast, which is double the normal 1000:1 for this kind of screen. IPS glow-reducing polarizing filters may also be used. There are standard viewing angles of 178° and 178°. A matte anti-glare screen surface is used and 10-bit color is supported (8-bit + FRC is assumed). A flicker-free WLED backlight emits light with a 98 percent DCI-P3 color gamut and a typical maximum brightness of 400 cd/m2. A factory calibration with a DeltaE 2 set for both the sRGB and DCI-P3 color spaces is included, with the correct presets. 'ComfortView Plus' is supported, which means that the peak of blue light is moved to less energetic wavelengths that could make it easier to see. This hardware solution is certified by TÜV Rheinland. Plus, the "ComfortView" Low Blue Light (LBL) setting is there to make watching more relaxing, with a warmer color temperature and less blue light of all wavelengths.

The monitor can show HDR10 content in a simple way because it has VESA DisplayHDR 400 support. This lets the relatively wide color gamut be put to good use with 10-bit color. But it doesn't have a lot of brightness by HDR standards or need dimming in specific areas to make things look better. A response time of 5ms gray to gray is given, which you shouldn't pay too much attention to. The back of the screen is made of textured light gray plastic, like the S2722QC we've already talked about. The accompanying stand is secured centrally with a quick-release mechanism and can be easily removed to make room for a 100 x 100mm VESA compliant solution. In addition to being able to change the height of the stand (150mm or 5.9 inches), it can also be turned into a portrait. The ports are on the bottom of the stand. They include AC power, HDMI 2.0, DP 1.4, DP 1.4 out, USB-C (90W PD, DP Alt Mode, upstream data), a 3.5mm audio output, USB-C upstream (data only), 4 USB 3.2 Gen2 ports, and an RJ45 port. At the bottom of the screen, outside the main port area, there is another USB 3.2 Gen2 port and USB-C downstream port. This makes it easy to get to them. KVM allows two computers to share USB peripherals, as well as two-source PbP and PiP. Additional information is available on the manufacturer's website. The monitor is now offered at $799 USD.
