Dell to release U3011 -- 30-inch IPS monitor
The colleagues over at Flatpanelshd.com report that Dell will soon release a new 30-inch monitor called U3011 and FlatpanelsHD has the specs and the first details on the new monitor.
Early pictures of the monitor emerged on the net earlier this week without any further details. However, we now know that the monitor will feature a color precise calibrated 10-bit H-IPS panel from LG.Display.
The panel has a massive 2560x1600 resolution in 16:10 format, and 1000:1 contrast ratio (10000:1 dynamic), 7 ms (g2g) response time, and 270 cd/m2 brightness. The IPS panel has a color depth of 1.07 billion colors. Dell U3011 also comes pre-calibrated from the factory just like U2410H and U2711H.
Dell U3011 has analogue D-SUB (VGA), 2x DVI, component, 2x HDMI and Displayport. The design is similar to the U2410H and U2711 which also means that you can expect tilt, height, swivel and pivot adjustment. Dell U3011 - or U3011H
