Dell to offer a curved 34-Inch U3415W Display

Dell to offer a curved 34-Inch U3415W Display

Dell will be offering a new display tagged as U3415W on a curved 34-Inch display format.  The Dell U3415W will offer a nice 3440 x 1440 resolution and has a 21:9 aspect ratio. Though not 100% certian, this likely will get an IPS panel. The monitor will get DisplayPort, Mini DisplayPort and HDMI connections.

The U3415W will get a tilt, height and swivel adjustable stand and comes with 9W stereo speakers. Rumored is that it will get a 99% sRGB colour gamut, 8ms G2G response time, 178/178 viewing angles, 1.07b colour depth and come factory calibrated with dE of <3.

Dell will be competing with the screens like the recently reelased 34UM95 from LG.The product is expected to launch in December.

I held off on the 34" LG (Non curved) because users here (and elsewhere) confirmed that it had issues with input lag but this may be the one.

I'm well aware of that, gaming is not the only thing I would use them for.

The input lag on the LG was extremely noticeable (with V-sync on) from what I've heard and I'm sensitive to it.

I'll be getting a couple of these regardless tbh, they'll go on the productivity box if there is an abundance of input lag.

Yes! I hope these types of monitors really catch on. When they offer 120hz I'm all over it.
