Dell introduces two new full HD gaming LCD displays with a refresh rate of 165Hz / 1ms.

Full HD gaming liquid crystal displays with a refresh rate of 165Hz and a response time of 1ms have been introduced by Dell. There are two models in total.

Display synchronization technologies AMD FreeSync Premium and NVIDIA G-Sync Compatible are also supported, and the color gamut is 99 percent of sRGB. Also included are preset mode features such as "flicker-free," which suppresses screen flicker, "Dell ComfortView Plus," which lowers blue light, "sports," "FPS," and "RPG," as well as three custom mode functions. Those who are interested in the 27-inch model should know that its body dimensions are 611 millimeters wide, 363.41 millimeters deep, 492.95 millimeters high, and it weighs 9.08 kg. The 537.8-inch model's body is 5.55 meters wide, 189.44 meters deep, 451.63 meters tall, and weighs 7.55 kilograms. Its dimensions are 537.8 meters in width, 189.44 meters depth, 451.63 meters height, and 7.55 kilograms weight. It is equipped with HDMI x2, DisplayPort1.2 x 1, and a single headphone output. The common interface may support up to four devices simultaneously.

Prices are 279 EUR for the 24" model and 349 EUR for the 27" model.

I agree on both pro and con 1440p
It is nearly the standard right now, but everything that need to be downscaled or upscaled look worse than native on it.
But also it's better to get a 1440p at high refresh than a 4k at 50/60 hz with too much millisecond... It look better most of the time.
And it's more easy to use with the median performances, ultra overpriced GPU we can get or that we own since too long.

That's a myth, you can up- and downscale from any to any resolution you want without real issues with any half-decent scaler such as bicubic or better. At least that is true for video. For games, spatial upscalers are always bad, but you can still render at any resolution you want with TAAU and image quality just degrades gradually with lower resolution. New DLDSR also works rather well with factors 1.78x and 2.25x.

It's not a myth at all, i have owned some of the best one, until i get my new 4k for home.
An image quality that just degrades gradually with lower resolution still is a degraded image and you see anytime the imperfection of the process on screen, also most game are in native HD or UHD without intermediary resolution... and so it's not ideal.
BUT it look better with those default at high refresh, than low cost 4K at 50/60 hz, low cost 4K are painfull for eyes.
AND don't forget the GPU used with the screen, it's an important point too (RX 6500 with 4K, isn't a good idea as an exemple).

Also true with 4k display, as you need to resort to much lower values in the first place to get a similar performance. And nearest neighbor 1080p -> 4k looks bad too vs. TAAU/DLSS.

And like I said, DLSS Quality (960p rendering) is fine in a lot of games on 1440p 27" screen, often still even better than native with regular TAA.
