Dell introduces two new full HD gaming LCD displays with a refresh rate of 165Hz / 1ms.
Full HD gaming liquid crystal displays with a refresh rate of 165Hz and a response time of 1ms have been introduced by Dell. There are two models in total.
Display synchronization technologies AMD FreeSync Premium and NVIDIA G-Sync Compatible are also supported, and the color gamut is 99 percent of sRGB. Also included are preset mode features such as "flicker-free," which suppresses screen flicker, "Dell ComfortView Plus," which lowers blue light, "sports," "FPS," and "RPG," as well as three custom mode functions. Those who are interested in the 27-inch model should know that its body dimensions are 611 millimeters wide, 363.41 millimeters deep, 492.95 millimeters high, and it weighs 9.08 kg. The 537.8-inch model's body is 5.55 meters wide, 189.44 meters deep, 451.63 meters tall, and weighs 7.55 kilograms. Its dimensions are 537.8 meters in width, 189.44 meters depth, 451.63 meters height, and 7.55 kilograms weight. It is equipped with HDMI x2, DisplayPort1.2 x 1, and a single headphone output. The common interface may support up to four devices simultaneously.
Prices are 279 EUR for the 24" model and 349 EUR for the 27" model.

1440p couldn't be further from a standard, literally. Its not a perfect integer and will always remain niche. I personally wont touch 1440p ever again, wanted 1080p performance too many times and it looks horrific on a 1440p display, and that cant be fixed.
So tired of full HD displays. 1440p is pretty much standard now. 1080p, 240hz is as high as it could get for gaming. Considering, 360hz is just an impossible number to reach in most games.

1) its not journalism it's a copy pasted product announcement, I only wish guru3d would add the mention if it's a VA,IPS,TN panel as they often don't say and VA is trash tier for gaming even if you paid me to play on VA I wouldn't (a fact, after buying a 120hz monitor I completely stopped playing 30fps console games I'd rather read a book than play in bad conditions)
2) 1440p if you check benchmark numbers you would see is the best quality/fps average, you get slightly lower fps but noticeably better PQ while 4K comes with a heavy cost, if you play 1080p on a 1440p monitor it's your mistake you ddidn't have the gpu for it or play older games which will never be fixed
fyi tv upscaling on recent LG oled C-series (B,A usual have a cheaper upscale engine) is very good, in fact as I watched lots of recent 1080p and 4k (web) tv shows most of the time the upscaled 1080p (with sharpness set high) look more HQ than the supposedly 4K versions (same sharpness)
I'm waiting for the LG oled 42" C model coming out this spring personnally, after seeing games on my oled tv I can't go back especially dark games like dark souls nioh or horror games
