D-Link will release new routers and WiFi mesh systems compatible with WiFi 6. The DIR-X5460 will be the flagship with two external 2.4 GHz antennas for 574 Mb/s and four times 5 GHz for no less than 4804 Mb/s.

You will spot four gigabit lan ports on the back and a single WAN connection, a single usb 2.0 and 3.0. The more affordable DIR-X2460 manages 574 Mb / s at 2.4 GHz. The performance differs at 5 GHz, because with three antennas it theoretically offers 1802 Mb s, thanks to 80 MHz channels instead of 160 MHz. The USB ports are also missing here. D-Link also announced the first Wi-Fi 6 model in its COVR series of mesh routers. The four-antenna COVR-X1872 will support two spatial streams on its 2.4GHz network to deliver a theoretical maximum throughput of 574Mbps, and four streams on its 5GHz network to support throughput up to 1,201Mbps.

COVR-X1872 will have four gigabit LAN ports in addition to a single gigabit WAN port; most routers in its class offer just one of each. The COVR-X1872 will cost $270 when it ships in Q2. If a Wi-Fi 6 router is beyond your budget, D-Link also announced three new Wi-Fi 5 (802.11ac) routers: The DIR-1750 ($100), the DIR-1950 ($120), and the COVR-1900 ($120).
