D-Link releases AX1800 Wi-Fi 6 USB Adapter

The DWA-X1850 AX1800 Wi-Fi 6 USB Adapter easily plugs into your laptop to provide lightning-fast Wi-Fi 6 connections (up to 1800 Mbps) and network security with WPA3.

The "DWA-X1850" has been officially introduced as the world's first Wi-Fi 6 compatible handset in time for CES 2021. Wi-Fi 6 communication can be simply used on non-compatible devices by connecting to the USB port of a PC or notebook PC. The highest communication speed is 1,200 megabits per second (Mbps) in the 5 GHz band and 574 megabits per second (Mbps) in the 2.4 GHz band. It supports OFDMA, which efficiently allocates subcarriers, MU-MIMO, which prevents performance degradation while connecting numerous units, and security with the newest WPA3.

USB 3.2 Gen. 1 is used as the connection interface. In the Windows 10 environment, the driver is automatically installed upon connection. It is a dongle with an integrated antenna that measures 30 mm in width, 95.5 mm in depth, 12.7 mm in thickness, and weighs 23.7 g.
