Cyberpunk 2077 NVIDIA DLSS 3 Update Is Out Now
We've already shown this extensively in our GeForce series 4000 reviews, a new update for "Cyberpunk 2077" that includes DLSS 3 technology, improving the game's graphics and performance is available.
This update is available now and is expected to enhance the overall gaming experience for players. The update includes improvements to the game's AI-based graphics rendering system, providing more realistic and detailed images, as well as improved frame rates. Additionally, the update will also optimize the game for Nvidia's latest GPU hardware, ensuring that players can fully experience the game's lovely visuals. Of course DLSS3 only works on Series 4000 Graphics cards from NVIDIA.
The DLSS Frame Generation requires a GeForce RTX 40 Series graphics card and Hardware-Accelerated GPU Scheduling being enabled in operating system. In Windows 11 this option is turned on by default.
Enabling Hardware-Accelerated GPU Scheduling in Windows 10:
- Press Windows key on your keyboard and type "graphics" and press enter. - Graphics settings menu should open.
- In the Graphics settings menu toggle the "Hardware-accelerated GPU scheduling" option.
- Restart your PC.
NOTE: it is recommended to enable upscaling (DLSS) on graphics cards with 16GB or less of VRAM and 1440p or higher resolution.

It's frustrating that the units that are enabling this exist in cards since Turing, and I also never understood how this is not possible with a 2 frame delay, for any card out there.

I've had raging arguments on reddit telling people this exact same thing. But they won't have it. They just start raging hard and shilling for Nvidia.
AMD proved Nvidia fanboys wrong with FSR and more importantly FSR2.x showing that upscaling can be done without bespoke hardware and it can have excellent results (ala FSR2).
TV's have been doing black frame insertion for years now on chips inside TV's that are insanely low power.
Consoles and game engines have had chequerboard rendering for nearly a decade now too.
But still Nvidia fanboys will just defend Nvidia at every chance they get. I hope AMD is working hard on their FSR3 implementation and I hope to god they open it up to more GPU's like they have with FSR1&2. I hope Intel does the same but they are in a mess at the moment from their enaring call.... yikes...
