Cyberpunk 2077 has already received more than ten patches to address the various issues that were discovered following the game's terrible debut, which resulted in a negative reception from the general public, particularly among those who played the game on consoles. According to the image that has been provided, patch 1.31, which introduced various changes to the game, will be the final one to be released in the year 2021, and it will be the last one issued in the year 2021. Beginning in the first quarter of 2022, both the free DLC content as well as the new updates will be made available. With CD Projekt Red appears to be attempting to optimize the launch of this version of the game by deferring it to the next generation with the deferral of the versions to the next generation.

We still plan to release free DLCs for the game, just like we did with The Witcher 3. However, we have decided that our priority is to work on the most important fixes and updates. So far, we have released the first DLC pack alongside patch 1.3 and will release more in the future. We will have more information on this in the coming months.

When asked about the postponement of the free DLC, which was originally intended to be released early this year, the developer stated that the focus at the moment is to provide a game with consistent playability across all platforms.
Additionally, the business does not want to lose sight of its massive hit The Witcher 3, which will receive updates for the next gen starting in 2022.
