Custom cooled GeForce GTX 1080 photos GALAX leak
Box and card photos of the GALAX GeForce GTX 1080 once again have surfaced on the web through your usual channels. The interesting bit here is that it shows a custom cooler.
Below you can see the photos if you click the thumbnails, I dunno. The founders edition cooler all of the sudden looks a lot better to me, no back-plate either. This is a very simple and cheapo blower style cooler. GALAX likely will have more editions though, with premium coolers and clock frequencies.

Dude, Hilbert, Please put a warning for worst box art and cooler imaginable. I know it will probably hurt your standing with Galax and they'll never send you another card again, but in this case that's probably doing you a favor.
I mean look at that thing. Does anyone seriously think that's pleasing to look at? And what's with the creepy clown dude on the box.
Hahaha, couldn't agree more with you. Indeed, this thing really looks fugly as... don't know the right word, really can't remember the last time I saw some graph.card (especially hi-end one) that looks so bad: cooler looks like it's made from recycled plastic, no backplate, box art belongs to "WTF is this!?" category...
Better for them to offer somewhat 10% off the price for those whose kids would freak out on that psycho clown. This just gave me an idea: gonna show this to all of my three kids and ask them for opinion
edit
My bet is they're going to put few stickers here and there on the cooler before send this cards to retailers. If I'm wrong and these are really the pictures of the final product then someone (lots of them) at Galax really needs to buy a better glasses.
