During this year's GDC, Crytek announced that CRYENGINE will support Mantle and Yerli claimed that with Mantle developers using CRYENGINE will be able to achieve CG quality graphics:

Its real good that AMD have made there own API and of course adoption from Crytek is a winner. We all get fed up with bloatware and whilst AMD may not be able to make a decent CPU making there own API has kicked M$ into touch with the new DX12 so at least that's good.

Well, considering that 'CG' stands for 'Computer Graphics', i think we've been there for a while now.
