Crytek takes servers down after suspicious activity

Yesterday Crytek has taken down all of their severs including Crytek.com, Mycryengine.com, Crydev.net and MyCrysis.com. Apparently they have been breached as the pages report a note on 'suspicious activity'.

Thus far Crytek has not released any information about what has happened so it is unclear what user data is vunerable:

THIS SITE IS CURRENTLY OFFLINE

We recently became aware of suspicious activity relating to some of Crytek's websites, and acted quickly to take those websites offline for security reasons.

We thank you for your patience, and expect to have these sites fully operational soon.

if you think iphone users are bad, you should see some of the samsung fanboys i've run into.

Thats the sad thing now. Since Samsung has been kicking ass with their phones, their followings are turning into mindless fanboys too. Happens with everything. Just look at Intel vs AMD and ATI/AMD vs Nvidia.

I don't have an account with any Crytek site, so my 'fears' are not an issue.

And I think that I can speak for this entire forum when I tell you that I'm sad you didn't understand at all what I posted. :bang:

Brilliant!
I'll confess to being something of a Samsung fanboy, though. ;)

Crapple deserve to get hacked, any iDiot that buys into Crapple deserve what they get

Mine was at the cryengine site as I was playing with their engine and wanted to get hold of the cinebox, but that isn't public yet, so meh.

As for apple...that's pretty harsh dude...I mean I don't deserve anything for using an iPhone. In my defense (not that I personally should have to) I did look at all the phones on the market and picked the iPhone because the GUI suited me better than the others, and that's important to me. Nokia had a nice GUI on the one I tried instore and I felt the Samsung I tried was sluggish when moving between screens, like there was a delay, so it came third. Can't remember the other manufacturers, but they were very samey and didn't stand out, and the blackberry had buttons...and I felt this was a step backwards.
