According to a number of reports, Crytek has removed Denuvo from its VR title, The Climb. Similarly to Bethesda and Playdead, Crytek has not revealed the reasons behind the removal of the Denuvo anti-tamper tech from its title.

What's also interesting is a new rumour that surfaced yesterday. According to the rumour, Crytek has not paid its employees in Bulgaria and Germany in 3 months:

"Dramatic situation as salaries for last months are not paid!"
Current Employee - 3D Artist  in Frankfurt am Main (Germany)
I have been working at Crytek full-time (More than 3 years)

Pros
Indeed still some talented people working in this studio, but it could change in the next weeks. How long will they work without salaries being paid?

Cons
Crytek's quote of "Crytek global domination" ended as a silly self-destruction.
-No good plan for the future. I would say no any plan which is better than the current one.
-people are sad, quiet and demotivated, some leaving the company, many talking about it.
-Many people working on old hardware, including very old 24 inch monitors.
-Open space working environment and very noisy.

Difficult to concentrate on work in such conditions. People walking around, talking aloud, like in a pub.
Promises, hopes and requests that we keep being quiet and not talk about Crytek problems outside the company - how long can you be quiet?

Advice to Management
Sell the company to NVidia, Intel? You and your business department can't manage it. You FAILED BIG WAY in the last 5 years and disapointed employees.
