Crysis 3 and Ryse Producer Mike Read has left Crytek
Crysis 3 and Ryse producer Mike Read has left Crytek, following graphics engine designer Tiago Sousa and Homefront producer Hasit Zala out the door. The new was first revealed on Read's LinkedIn page, but he's also update his Twitter to reflect his new circumstances.
Things are definitely not looking good for Crytek. The departure of Mike Read at Crytek seems like a huge blow for a studio that has been facing tough times. Hopefully Mike Read is able to find another position elsewhere. As for Crytek, hopefully things end up well for them during this rough period.

THEY DIDN'T LISTEN TO FANS. Crysis 2/3 were ok, but not what Crysis 1 was. Fans asked for a more open world approach and we got a linear experience with a gimped nanosuit with LESS FUNCTIONALITY. That's what happens when you ignore your fans!

I feel their games has been all about showing off wicked graphics with horrible gameplay and storyline.
The graphic engines are pieces of art though.

Some people fail upwards.
He is the one directly and indirectly responsible for the problems with Crysis3 and Ryse, as he was and partially is responsible for the problems and issues with CCP Games (who have been dropping staff for years and are bleeding money).
This Napoleon-complex individual had no experience in the games industry prior to CCP, yet was given control where it was not justified.
Always question someone who covets the successes of other people, yet criticises their failures when they are the one responsible for the failures.
If you asked him what a polygon is, he'd probably say it is a dead parrot.
