It's currently unknown how this build got onto the net but its always sad when something like this happens as it is bound to not only affect sales of the game itself but also cause publisher to try to create more complex DRM set ups that will just upset legit consumers. Crysis 2 is set to ship on PC, Xbox 360, and Playstation 3 in March 2011.

The Crysis 2 Blog has an official statement from Crytek:

" Crytek has been alerted that an early incomplete, unfinished build of Crysis 2 has appeared on Torrent sites. Crytek and EA are deeply disappointed by the news. We encourage fans to support the game and the development team by waiting and purchasing the final, polished game on March 22. Crysis 2 is still in development and promises to be the ultimate action blockbuster as the series
