Cougar are launching their Phontum gaming headset. The main features of this headset are its dual earpad system, that makes it easier to use it in all kinds of environments, and an audio quality that far surpasses expectations at its price range.

It will start selling before the end of next week in the USA; the main features of Phontum are essentially its interchangeable earpads and its sound quality (with a 53mm driver a dual chamber system and graphene diaphragms, features that rarely appear at this price range).

It has been designed to be a reasonably priced (USA MSRP: 54.9 USD) headset with a high-quality sound (53mm driver with dual chamber system and graphene diaphragm), and some comfort and portability enhancements, the main of which is its dual ear pad system that allows users to switch from a big indoor ear pad to a smaller, lighter ear pad for outdoor use.
