AMD's Ryzen Rembrandt APUs will have Zen 3+ and RDNA 2 GPU cores. These next CPUs are expected to be built on TSMC's 6nm technology.

AMD Rembrandt is the company's next-generation APU designed for gaming laptops and mobile workstations. It is perhaps the most significant enhancement in terms of integrated graphics. It will be powered by Navi2, effectively phasing out the Vega architecture. Additionally, the series should support PCIe Gen4 (as opposed to Cezanne's Gen3) and DDR5 memory. Rumors have been swirling for some weeks that Rembrandt is already in production. This new series is scheduled to debut around CES 2022.

The processor leaked in Userbenchmark runs at 3.9 GHz base speed and boosts to 4.1 GHz. Finally, it is listed with an FP7 socket, indicating that it will be used in notebooks to power the next Rembrandt 6nm series. The version reviewed here features a 16 GB DDR5 4800 Mbps SODIMM memory module. While it may appear anecdotal, the new APU performs marginally less than the Ryzen 9 5900H. However, we are obviously working with a very small sample size at this stage of commercial production. The other intriguing aspect of this leak is the computer on which this APU was discovered. According to the system identifier, it is a Corsair Xenomorph system. At the present, we do not know when Corsair will enter the laptop market. It might potentially be a Mini PC or an All In One, given the brand's recent entry into the display sector.
