Corsair to sell pre-built Vengeance 5180 gaming-PC with RTX 2080 / 8700 for $2400

Last year Corsair had a nice success with the release of the compact one PC. It seems they have a taste for some more as Corsair releases a pre-built Vengeance 5180 gaming-PC that is loaded with an MSI GeForce RTX 2080  and Core i7 8700 processor.

The PC is following a Micro ATX form factor as Corsair makes use of the brilliant Crystal 280X (review). MSI is the partner for the B360 motherboard and GPU, that GPU is no slouch as it is the GeForce RTX 2080 being paired with a Core i7 8700. The board is paired with two slices of Corsair Vengeance RGB PRO 8GB (16GB) DDR4 2667 MHz. The system has Windows 10 Home 64-bit pre-installed.

Of course the all other components have Corsair written in them including a CX750 power supply, the Force MP300 nvme-SSD 480GB (review) alongside a 2TB HDD. Cooling wise an H100i Pro has been installed, and for a bit of extra bling, you will spot LL120 RGB-fans and twee LL140 RGB-fans. These are configurable with iCUE as they are tied towards a Lightning Node Pro RGB-controller.

It's a pretty strong PC, also you'll receive a keyboard and mouse. This release seems to be USA centric, it is not clear whether this build will reach the EU. In the US it would cost roughly $2400 exclusive of taxes.

I mean, I honestly didn't check prices, but that rig seems a little expensive to me, considering it's got "only" a 2080 (which makes up for a third of the price, admitted), and "only" a B360 mainboard. Might have gotten the wrong impression, but $2400 without taxes is a pretty hefty price tag for a prebuilt system.

At least you can easily use the RGB LED setup since it's all from Corsair :D

Nice setup if you have the money to spare, and don't want to research and aim at pre-built stuff.

It doesn't have even the latest gen CPU. You'd think 2400 dollars would get you at least that.

The CPU is an 8700 NON-K version, so it doesn't need the z chipset 'cause it's not intended for overclock, like the ram and the rest of the system.
It's something like an "OVERCLOCKED GAMING RIG FAC SIMILE", btw it can be a good choose for a lot of people that are not capable o build a rig and doesn't really need or want oc, but just a nice looking fast enough pc.
