Corsair To Release 3400 MHz DDR4 Dominator Platinum Memory DIMMs
And they look pretty frickin cool as well. Corsair will launch Corsair Dominator Platinum DDR4 rated at 3400 MHz. The memory has a voltage is just 1.35v and have a timing configuration at 16-18-18-40.
The modules are binned, hand picked and tested by Corsair themselves. Corsair has been showing the new memory at CES 2015 running on a Gigabyte X99-SOC Champion motherboard, actually higher at an overclocked frequency of 3500 MHz ( no changes to the voltage or the timings). The looks have changed a bit as well, top top shroud heatspreader is painted orange rather than silver. The DIMMs still have the cool white LED.

Way to much money. Better off buying a 3GHz kit and OC it for a third of the price.

$1000... what are they thinking. When it hits 1/4 of that price, this seems like the point when people will actually buy it, lol.

For that kind of money they at least could have given it a golden cover instead of just bronze.
