Corsair Shows Concept Orion Chassis with Capellix LED lit glass panels

You probably can remember some of the Capellix products that we have reviewed from Corsair. Well, it seems they are expanding this idea towards chassis glass side panels. At CES they have shown Concept Orion, a chassis with RGB enabled glass panels.

The idea behind this is to integrate LEDs directly on the glass. Look at it like this, you take the say an iCUE 465X RGB and place RGB glass panels in it Corsair places 150 Capellix diodes into the panels and then you connect it to the iCUE ecosystem which makes it all configurable. Regarding the integration of these diodes, they are being integrated via a film with low visibility, you hook it up to a Light Node Pro or Commander Pro controller and then communication between the LEDs and the software takes place. And if you find that the LEDs are too bright, there is always the possibility to turn them off.

Corsair has no plans to market its concept short term as it will be an expensive option, it could add 100 bucks to the build bill, and Corsair doubts that people are willing to go for it. However I have to say on a personal note, I really dig the looks on that.
