Corsair M65 PRO RGB Gaming Mouse now has 12000 dpi Sensor

Corsair today announced the new M65 PRO RGB gaming mouse. Equipped with an advanced 12,000 dpi optical sensor, surface calibration tuning utility and high-precision switches, the M65 PRO RGB builds on the original Corsair M65's legacy while adding the latest in mouse sensor and customisation technology.

Corsair's new M65 PRO RGB is a competition-grade FPS gaming mouse with the technology you need to win, the flexibility to make it your own, and the build quality to last. The high-accuracy 12,000 dpi optical sensor provides pixel-precise tracking and the advanced surface calibration support offers supreme responsiveness for your playing surface. An aircraft-grade aluminum chassis provides low weight and high durability, and with the dedicated sniper button, take advantage of on-the-fly dpi switching to instantly match mouse speed to gameplay demands for extreme accuracy.

The M65 PRO RGB's advanced weight tuning system allows the gamers to adjust the mouse's center of gravity to match their play style; lighter for fast-deadly precision and heavier for decisive movements. Harness the power of Corsair Utility Engine (CUE) for advanced button configuration, macro programming and three-zone dynamic multi-color backlighting customization. Gain an advantage by customizing your configuration and play your way with the eight strategically placed reprogrammable buttons. High-capacity Omron switches rated for 20 million clicks and low friction PTFE glide pads ensures reliable performance that holds up through even the longest campaigns.

I like there mouses but what kills it all for me is fact they claim gaming mouse but STILL dont use 4 way/tilt scrolls. Razor does the same thing with most there mouses if not all last check.

it not like 4way/tilt scroll is expensive to add and i think it requirement for gaming mouses

I'm guessing companies don't add it because it ends up being the weakest link. In my experience the tilt wheels break down over time faster than other components.

so do the actual mouse click switch I have had 3 + mouse that had 4 way tilt scrolls and they never broke down the left and right switch broke down, or start failing mean while 4way/tilt scroll works just as good as they day I got the mouse, add that is after 4+ years of using the mouse for upwards of 6 hours a day.

Think people just dont like the lose feeling of 4way/tilt scrolls and cite that as low quality or something there has to be gap give on the side or it cant be tilted to click switches.

I wanted to get Corsair mouse when I was looking for new mouse to repalce my mx1100 that died (left/right click ) weere failing tilt fuction was fine, but I bought g502 which was more expansive and had worse sniper button placement simply cause 4 way/tilt is requirement in my eye for gaming mouse.

Ooo, I likes the looks of this one! Reminds me of the same shape as my G9x, although the sniper button looks like it could get in the way. The surface calibration sounds interesting, is it really that useful though? The G9x on a Steelseries 4HD pad is an ideal combo for me, doesn't need changing, but I do like the look of this Corsair M65.

Not sure about that 12000 dpi Sensor...Had an older model M65 but changed to the Optical M45 same shape as the M65, very comfortable in the hand.
