Jason Xie, Intel's Gaming Technical Marketing Lead, gave a live demonstration of a desktop CPU from the company's upcoming Raptor Lake family. Even while he wouldn't reveal the specific CPU, it's now quite clear that it's a Core i9-13900KS.

This CPU is demonstrated in action on both an Intel reference motherboard and a commercially available ASUS Z790 motherboard. There is no chiller in this demonstration because we are using a standard off-the-shelf Corsair AIO liquid cooler to cool the system down. The demo of the 7zip benchmark is running in the background and shows the Intel XTU (Extreme Tuning Utility) and HWiNFO screens to indicate that no "tricks" were used.

The video demonstrated that for just two cores the CPU can hit 5.985 GHz, albeit it doesn't stay at that speed permanently. As Jason explains, the frequency will be affected by a wide range of variables, including power consumption, temperature, and the software itself.

So from what we saw and what we know thus far: 5.6 GHz on all P cores and 4.3 GHz on the E cores under all core load, and 2 select p cores at 6 GHz.
