Core i7 "Ivy Bridge-E" Prices Leak
Intel is prepping slowly but steadily to release their upcoming Core i7 "Ivy Bridge-E" processors. According to latest data, Intel will release in September 10 no less than three Ivy Bridge-E processors namely the Core i7-4960X, Core i7-4930K and Core i7-4820K. Ivy Bridge E can be used on Intel X79 socket 2011 based motherboards, even the older ones albeit they all will need a BIOS update.
The six-core 15MB Smart Cache, 3.6GHz clock Core i7-4960X Price will be $ 990 (NT $ 29,650 million); Core i7-4930K clocked at 3.4GHz and 12MB Smart Cache, the price is $ 555 (NT $ 16,622 million); the quad-core Core i7-4820K is clocked at 3.7GHz and has 10MB Smart Cache, its price at $ 310 (NT $ 9,284 million) .

Aye, someone delidded one, it has solder. I honestly don't think they could get away with skimping on what can be server chips.
So any info if IB-E will use solder between the IHS or will it be like standard IB cpus? Can't be too much longer for these. Asus just released a new bois for my X79 Sabertooth that adds new CPU support.
