Core i5-1350P Benchmarks Revealed: Slightly Outperforms Predecessor

Intel's 13th Generation Core 'Raptor Lake' mobile CPUs are slated to launch in 2023, thus it is not surprising that benchmark data have leaked.

Intel's Core i5-1350P CPU performance was recently added to Primate Labs' Geekbench 5 database. Core i5-1350P has four high-performance Raptor Cove cores and eight energy-efficient Gracemont cores. It draws 28W at base but up to 64W under high loads (at least based on Intel's P-series mobile products). This CPU is one of the mobile Raptor Lake processors that will not acquire any additional cores, therefore the performance uplift compared to Alder Lake parts (the i5-1250P in this case) will be enabled only by higher turbo speeds and probably some further PC maker tuning.

Core i5-1350P performed similarly to its predecessor in an unannounced Acer TravelMate P614-53. Since we are talking about laptops, cooling and the OEM's power plan are important. The Core i5-1350P beats the Core i5-1250P in single-threaded integer, float, and crypto workloads. The new Core i5-1350P was slower than Apple's M2 in single-threaded workloads but faster in multi-threaded operations. In Geekbench 5, Apple's eight-core M1 Pro beats Intel's Core i5-1350P. Since we are working with pre-production hardware, we will not draw conclusions about the Core i5-1350P. However, since the new CPU has higher speeds than its predecessor, we do not expect it to be much faster.
