Core i5-12600K Beats Core i9-11900K (Alder Lake)

Core i5-12600K Beats Core i9-11900K (Alder Lake)

New, let's call them the latest benchmark results for Intel's upcoming Alder Lake processors have been published on the internet. It covers alleged Cinebench scores for the Intel Core i5-12600K(F), Intel Core i7-12700K(F), and Intel Core i9-12900K(F) processors, all of which are featured in a CPU-database.

Instantaneously distinguishable about the various outcomes is that they all offer an optimistic image of Alder Lake's overall performance. According to CPU-Monkey, a Core i5-12600K(F) processor would achieve 750 points on the single-thread test of Cinebench R20 if it were used in this configuration. For example, AMD's Ryzen 9 5950X (647 points) and Intel's Core i9-11900K (631 points*) both scored higher than that figure. The Core i7-12700K boosts it to 768 points, and the top-of-the-line Core i9-12900K appears to get no less than 817 points on average. That is consistent with the leaked information we reported on last week. These results are simply another high point in a string of both impressive and disappointing data that have come out of the Alder Lake area thus far. As a result, it is difficult to predict where the real performance levels will come from.

Intel seems to be doing excellent work keeping things under wraps, haha. Or maybe this is some kind of viral marketing strategy.

o.k. with a grain of salt the size of London, i will say this is the type of performance gain we used to get when tick went tock.

and for some unknown reason (maybe i'm mental), this makes me happy.
but the only reason there's a grain of salt in the first place is Intel's habit of overpromising and under delivering

this is more than a tick tock tbh...12600k being faster than 10900k is more like core 2 duo vs Pentium 4. This RARELY happens.
