A Core i3 10100F popped up, and similar to3wards other F chips, this CPU has no enabled GPU. The timing is interesting. The processor has four cores and eight threads at a boost of 3.6 GHz and 4.3 GHz respectively. It has 6 MB of L3 cache. So aside from the active iGPU it is totally similar to the non-F model.
Priced at 90 EUR the chip has launched for the budget minded. If we look at the competition, the Ryzen 3 3300X it the most direct competitor. That SKU also has 4 cores and 8 threads. But with 16MB of L3 cache and a Wraith Stealth heatsink, it does offer a notch more. The regular Core i3 10100 is for sale at the time of writing for ~ 120 euros similar to the 3300X, which means that the GPU-less Intel offers a notable cost benefit.
Processors | Cores / Threads | Base / Boost Clocks (GHz) | L3 Cache (MB) | TDP (W) | MSRP |
