Cooler Master Releases Black Edition MA620P CPU cooler for AMD Threadripper

Cooler Master Releases Black Edition MA620P CPU cooler for AMD Threadripper

Cooler Master launches its MasterAir MA620P and MA621P models. The performance of these air coolers outshines even some AIO water cooling systems. The cooler body is a combination of two heatsinks with CDC 2.0 technology and two MasterFan MF120R RGB fans.

The cooler is powerful and can be used for CPUs up to 200W TDP. Attaching an optional third fan is possible. Thus, the cooling capacity can step up. Both new CPU coolers feature two MasterFan MF120R RGB fans and an in-line RGB controller. You have the option of adjusting the color, brightness and effects with just a few clicks. Alternatively, you can also use the software of the (RGB) motherboard manufacturer. Cooler Master RGB fans are fully compatible with ASUS, Gigabyte, MSI and Asrock, ensuring full RGB system sync.

MA621P: For AMD Threadripper CPUs
The MA621P is a TR4 edition of the MA620P. It is exclusive to the TR4-SP3 socket and therefore suitable for AMD thread ripper CPUs. Except for the assembly, both models are identical.

MA620P TUF Edition
In collaboration with ASUS's TUF Gaming Initiative, Cooler Master has designed a version of the MA620P that complies with the TUF design and looks great with a TUF skin board. TUF Gaming is a product family of ASUS focused on durable and reliable PC components. The TUF Gaming Alliance is a collaboration between ASUS, Cooler Master and other brands to develop a product line for an aesthetically-related gaming PC.

All three versions cost 79,99 €

Looks like a lot like Noctua's fantastic NH-D14. Does it cool as well?

I'd pay more to skip the RGB ;)

What I saw review on this cooler, its OK for stock clocks or mild OC but if you are looking to OC 1950x then this cooler you shouldn't consider

Hopefully someone will review new Thermalright cooler for ThreadRipper

Hope this helps

Thanks, Jura
