Cooler Master MasterCase H500P Shows Up As Pre-order

Cooler Master MasterCase H500P Shows Up As Pre-order

So when I say Cooler Master MasterCase H500P chassis it'll probably say nothing right. But if you can remember our Cooler Master coverage from Computex, you'll remember that this particular model is the successor in the HAF series. And the HAF series appeals to a lot of of people.

Starting October the 10th the new Cooler Master MasterCase H500P will become available. It's fitted with two massive 200mm fans at the front side (RGB) and from the looks of it, it has a tempered glass side panel. The chassis has an exoskeleton look and certainly resembles the good old fashion HAF look, HAF is short for High Air Flow btw. The Cooler Master MasterCase H500P ATX Chassis is now available for pre-order from Newegg and will cost $149.

  • Two pre-installed 200mm RGB fans in the front
  • Cable management covers
  • Built-in vertical graphics card mount
  • Light grey tinted tempered glass side panel
  • Support up to 360mm radiator
  • Support up to 412mm GPU

Such an ugly case as most Cooler Master's are.

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. Some Cooler Master cases are a bit heavy or clunky looking, but most are pretty nice. The Master Box series are sleek and modern, while the H500P looks like a military vehicle. That's the way Cooler Master wants it to look. I watched a couple of video reviews on this case, and I;m sold. I am going to buy this case. I live in Canada, so that means I'll have to wait a while longer than my American friends.

I'm surprised - I thought it was going to be a bit more expensive than that. Still more money than I'm willing to pay for just a chassis (I think the most I ever spent on a chassis for myself was $60 including shipping), but still seems like a decent value.
